Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 April 2026

1. What MrPaperTrade is (and isn't)

MrPaperTrade is a paper-trading simulator. Every balance, position, trade, and order on this site is fake — no real money changes hands, ever. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Prices shown are sourced from public market data feeds (Binance, Bybit, Alpaca IEX, Yahoo Finance, TradingView). They may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. You should not rely on them for real trading decisions.

2. Your account

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from the profile menu — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

3. Public by default

By default, your trades, positions, and profile (once you set a username) are visible on the public leaderboard and community feed. You can switch your profile to private in your profile settings at any time, which hides all of the above from other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to exploit the simulation to gain advantage (price manipulation, balance exploits, race conditions, automated abuse);
  • scrape, resell, or redistribute market data or user content;
  • harass, threaten, or impersonate other users;
  • post illegal, hateful, or spam content in any user-generated text on the platform (username, bio, etc.);
  • reverse-engineer, probe security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access.

We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

5. No warranty, no liability

The service is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, data accuracy, feature availability, or compatibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including lost virtual balances, missed educational opportunities, or decisions you make based on what happens here.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

7. Contact

Questions? Reach out via the site contact or email the team directly.

This is a placeholder template. Before launch, review with a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction and update accordingly.

MrPaperTrade is a paper-trading simulator. Nothing on this site is investment advice or a regulated brokerage service. All balances, positions, and trades are virtual.
